TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONSOF SHRINKED POLYPROPYLENE (BOPP) FILM (121 mm ± 0.5)
Polypropylene film willbe used in packing groups having the capacity of 500 cycle/min.
1. Output (yield) : min.50 m2/kg
2. Thickness :between(20-22) micron
3. Width :the bobbins width which will beused in carton packets will
be (121 mm ± 0.5 )
4. Haze : max. 3 % (ASTM D 1003)
5. Tensile strength : MD min. 15 kg/mm²(ASTM D 882)
6. Water vapor permeability: max. 6 gr./m²/24 hours (38°C90% relative moisture)
(ASTM F 1249)
7. Sticking : it shall be stuck by itselfat 85°C -140°C without using any
sticker.
8. Dimensional stability : film shall be min. %8 shrink to the MD&TD directions.
ASTMD 1204 (120°C, 5 minutes)
9. Other characteristics:
9.1) BOPP Film;
9.1.1) No limping will occur because ofstatic electrification while machines are operating.polypropylene should notrequire usage of antistatic eliminator.
9.1.2) Both faces of polypropylenefilm shall have co-extruded characteristic and shall have sticking characteristic.
9.2) Polypropylenewill be easy cuttable, and will have been strength against pulling andextension.
9.3) Polypropylenewill have clear, transparent and bright appearance. No hole, torn, spot andbubble will be on polypropylene.
9.4) Polypropylenebobbins should be produced as one part without any cut.
9.5) Usage period :
Propylene willhave a characteristics of being ready to be used without losing its characteristicsunder 30°C storage condition for one year after delivery date. Awarded bidder willgive written contract for every party.
9.6) Other sizes:
9.6.1) center core inner diamater of bobbins will be (76± 1) mm.
9.6.2) 121 width bobbin’s outer diamater will be 320± %5 mm. And min. Length will
be 3000m.
9.6.3) Center core wall thickness of bobbins will be (10mm ±1 mm).
9.6.4) Bobbins will be in circle shape and shall becoiled hard and regular on coils.
Side faces of bobbinswill be tidy and homogen (will not be indented). No secretion will occur during the operation. A label whichincludes type, width, weight length of goods, and name of company will be stuckon the bobbins.
9.6.5) No creasing, wrinkle, collection and breakwill occur in operation of
Polypropylene film.Polypropylene film will tightly comprehend the made packet without occurringany looseness. The sticking places will be regular as those sticking placeswill prevent the cigarette aroma from going out.
9.6.6) There will not beany wrinkle or color change on folding places of
polypropylenefilm.
9.6.7) Manufacturer willsubmit approved technical specification document signed
byauthorized quality assurance person.
